Sorry Slovakia!

I feel we should apologise to the Slovakians for our extremely short foray into their country, looking back on it now I can’t really remember what made us skip through it so quickly but I am sure there was a good reason?

Typically, as soon as we arrived in Hungary we chatted to some campers who told us their favourite place for hiking are the gorges in Slovakia which are apparently quite stunning and which we had driven so close to only hours before, whoops.

We did however make a trip to the 900 year old ruins of Spis castle and were happy to learn that this comes top of the lists of ‘things to see in Slovakia’ – phew!
